How to use AI for brainstorming (part 2)

And in this post, I’m sharing with you 3 more ideas. So, let’s get started!

💡You can use the tips and prompts below with ChatGPT or any other AI tool you have access to.

This hack is all about finding ideas that are a little bit surprising or even a little bit wrong. Find something that everyone agrees on in your topic. Then, ask AI to argue the opposite.

For example, a lot of people say 'you should eat 5 small meals a day’. So, you can ask AI:

✅ 'Why might eating 5 small meals a day, instead of 3 big ones be bad for you?'

It might give you some interesting points that you haven’t considered. Boom! Instant content idea that you can explore further. 

The 'mix and match' brainstorming hack is about taking two things that don't seem to go together and asking AI to find a connection between them. Like, what if you combined 'gardening' and 'video games'? Ask AI:

✅ 'How can gardening be like a video game?'

It might suggest things like levelling up your garden or earning rewards for growing vegetables. It's all about finding new and unexpected angles. This will help you stand out in the sea of bland AI-generated content.

Instead of asking AI for answers, ask it for questions. Try this:

✅ “What are 10 thought-provoking questions about living well after 60?”
✅ “What 10 questions do beginners ask about graphic design?”

You can then take it further by taking each question and putting it through ChatGPT again using any of the tips I’ve shared earlier in this post, or the post from last week.
