Hello dear AI enthusiast!

I’ve got a favour to ask today! To help me better understand how I can help you master AI, could you fill out this very short survey? It will only take you 2 minutes and it will massively help me out. Thank you!

ChatGPT projects

Today, I’d like to share with you some tips on using the ChatGPT Projects feature. Projects are like folders inside ChatGPT where you can keep everything related to a single topic or task in one place.

Imagine you’re working on a marketing campaign, writing a book, or planning a trip. Instead of starting a brand-new chat every time, you can create a Project. And then do all your work on that topic inside the project, to keep it separate from your chats about healthy recipes, book recommendations and so on.

But it gets even better.

Inside that Project, ChatGPT remembers your files, notes and progress so you don’t have to re-explain everything over and over again.

💡 Example: applying for jobs

Imagine you’re applying for jobs. Each job has a different job description and criteria you need to meet. So it needs a tailored covering letter.

ChatGPT Projects can support you with drafting covering letters more easily. You start with uploading your CV, your experience, a description of your best projects, your portfolio, your skills and strengths to the project. That’s your knowledge base that ChatGPT will be able to draw on.

Then, you can start new chats inside the project to draft covering letters for different roles. And you won’t have to prompt ChatGPT again on your background and skills because it’s already got that knowledge.

There are some more practical examples and a step-by-step tutorial in this video on my YouTube channel:

Custom GPTs

🤔 You’re probably wondering – how are ChatGPT Projects different from a custom GPT? They are quite different!

Watch my latest YouTube video to learn more about custom GPTs, what they’re useful for, how they’re different from Projects, and learn how to build your own custom GPT in 5 minutes.

I’ll be back next week with more tips!

Oh and remember to fill out my survey! Thank you!
