Hello dear AI enthusiast!
In this issue of Everyday AI Made Easy, I want to share some interesting use cases of ChatGPT.
💡 Analysing documents
ChatGPT can analyse documents you upload to it. Once you’re in ChatGPT, just click the plus sign in the search bar and select ‘Upload photos & files’. You can then query ChatGPT about the document or documents you upload to it.
Here’s a use case, to show you why this is useful in practice.
➡️ Use case 1: Document wording comparison
Imagine you’re an HR professional. There’s been an update to an HR policy and you need to email everyone in your organisation about the changes.
How ChatGPT can help you with this is you can upload the old version and the new version of the policy, and ask it to summarise the changes for you. You can also ask ChatGPT to present its findings as bullet points or an email that’s ready to send to all staff.
Here’s another example:
➡️ Use case 2: Stats comparison
Imagine you’re a marketing manager who’s just received performance reports from three different campaigns: one from Facebook Ads, one from Google Ads and one from LinkedIn. Each one is in a separate pdf file.
You can upload all three files to ChatGPT and ask it to:
compare the campaigns’ click-through and conversion rates
identify which platform delivered the best return on investment
suggest next steps for optimising future campaigns
