Hello dear AI enthusiast!

In this issue of Everyday AI Made Easy, I want to share with you 3 prompts that will help you improve your writing skills. And I don’t mean getting better at using AI to write. I mean asking AI for feedback on how you can improve and refine your craft.

Try pasting your writing into ChatGPT (or another AI tool) and using one of these prompts:

💡Prompt #1: writing more clearly

“Act as a writing coach. Read my writing and highlight any sentences that feel confusing, wordy or unclear. Suggest specific ways to make each unclear sentence or idea more straightforward and easy to follow, without changing my tone or style.”

💡Prompt #2: maintaining engagement

Act as a writing coach. Read my writing and tell me exactly where your attention was strongest and where it started to drift. What caused those shifts? Was it the pacing, the word choice, lack of tension, unclear purpose, or maybe something else? Suggest specific ways to sustain engagement throughout.”

💡Prompt #3: unique voice

Act as a writing coach. I’d like you to focus entirely on my writer’s voice. Read my writing and describe how my voice comes across, for example, whether it feels distinct, authentic, consistent or generic. Identify patterns that shape my voice. Then suggest practical ways to make my voice more authentic and unique.”

I’m also excited to share that I’ll soon be able to support you with a more structured may to master AI for work and everyday life. More details coming next month!

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
